Launching the New Web Portal

Macquarie University

Macquarie Uni had an intranet problem.
No one used it, no one liked it. So they went ahead and built a brand new web portal for their Staff and Students and it is fantastic. Now, they just needed to get the word out, generate excitement and let people know why there was a new intranet as well as what was so great about it.

They approached Hank Mango to create an animated video that would be accessible by both Staff and Students. They needed something that explained their thinking in a digestible manner whilst also generating hype about the new platform.

As well as going back to them with our best creative ideas, we also presented them with a strategy that would ensure their video would have longevity further to just the launch by making it a more modular narrative.

This worked perfectly for them! Not only did they have a great piece of content to launch the portal with but they had a video they could show for the next few years to introduce new staff and students to the wonders of the portal and mobile app.
